The growth of Premier Jobs UK in 2021

With 2021 drawing to a close we are delighted to say that 2021 was another fantastic year for Premier Jobs UK with all-around growth in the business, excellent performance, some new faces and the continuation of high-level support for our candidates and clients. How much have we grown? See for yourself…
Performance growth
We are delighted to say that, at the time of writing, we are 36% up year-on-year in regard to placements which is another amazing above target result. We were extremely happy with our 2020 increase of 27% but to outperform that again is fantastic news for everyone here!
Staff growth
Some new faces joined the business including Dylan Brooks, Emma-Jade Kennedy, Jack Saunders and Dawn Walker-Bennett.
Dawn joined the Acquisitions Team earlier this year looking to focus purely on IFA Acquisitions. She has made a fantastic start helping IFA business owners with their retirement and growth plans.
Dylan has made a flying start since joining in May 2021 on a Level 3 Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship. He has impressed everyone in the business, including candidates, with an amazing work ethic and willingness to learn. He has already received sixteen 5-star reviews on Trustpilot, commenting on his excellent, personal service. Dylan is now looking to continue his Level 3 Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship into 2022 which will allow him to further learn and develop in his career.
Emma-Jade joined the Premier Jobs UK team in July 2021 following the completion of her criminology degree. Since joining, she has worked hard to help improve the businesses internal systems and created our first candidate survey. As part of the government Kickstart scheme, we have supported Emma-Jade’s future employability towards her goal of joining the police in 2022.
Jack recently joined the business in November 2021 following the completion of his Level 3 qualification in Games Development. Since joining as part of the government Kickstart scheme, Jack has been supporting our two divisions of recruitment and acquisitions with admin and marketing support.
Support to candidates
Everyone within the business has worked tirelessly to support their candidates all year. Our consultants again worked through the national lockdown from January 2021 until the easing process which took place from April through to June. Despite the circumstance, spirits remained high and we pushed on collectively to provide the same high level of support that we are known for.
Furthermore, various resources were introduced this year with the aim to help candidates, for example, meeting packs for select companies were introduced, interview handouts were created and our IFA Acquisitions team created free to download eBooks. As a business, we have maintained a fantastic open dialogue with existing and new clients which has resulted in a plethora of new businesses looking to recruit.
Candidate recognition
Last year, we highlighted the fact that we wanted to be the “leading recruitment business for Financial Services”. In March 2021, we achieved the enviable ranking on Trustpilot of #1 in the category ‘Recruiter’ and #1 in the category ‘Recruitment’ and receiving a perfect 5.0 / 5 rating page which we have continued to hold ever since (see below).

We have also aided candidates through our company YouTube channel which aims to provide job seekers and Financial Services Professionals with informative content to help them on their job search, covering: interview advice, industry qualifications, mindset and more! IFA Acquisitions growth
Our sister business IFA Acquisitions saw fantastic growth this year leading to the additional appointment of Dawn Walker-Bennett as Senior Acquisitions Broker, who has been a great asset to the business. The start of our eBook series was well received by clients and candidates alike and we look forward to continuing to provide free valuable content in 2022. Another first for IFA Acquisitions was the recent launch of the IFA Acquisitions YouTube channel whereby we have currently released 2 videos that have received excellent feedback of being useful for those looking to exit their IFA business or to grow.
The volume of Acquirers has grown to over 100 and is continually growing. As well as completing numerous IFA deals between buyers and sellers our pipeline of deals at different stages of offers is in excess of £1.5bn and growing week by week.
