Derek joined the team in 2015. Derek has a London office as well as a family base in Newcastle and is able to meet candidates in both locations. Derek’s background was 16 years with Co-Operative Financial Services where he was a top performing Sales Manager and District Manager, before spending the last 9 years there as a Regional Manager, leading a team of 85 Advisers and 12 Area Managers. Following the closure of CIS salesforce Derek was a Recruitment Director and Business Manager of two of the UK’s largest networks Openwork and Sesame, helping business owners develop their business through quality recruitment and supporting new advisers as they join the firm. When not at work Derek enjoys football and supporting his daughter’s partner who is a professional footballer, currently playing for Crewe.
