Description
Are you a highly experienced individual within consumer duty for retail finance and interested in a Non-Executive Director opportunity to provide compliance expertise to the Board and Senior Leadership team of a growing BNPL / retail finance firm?
Our client is seeking a Non-Executive Director who can act as consumer duty board champion for the business. You will need to be present for 4 – 6 meetings per annum (plus undertake any additional work to support your role)
The business is a retail consumer and business finance firm who provide regulated and unregulated lending, which includes ‘buy now, pay later’. They have a high performing team and achieved near 400% year-on-year growth in lending for 2024 vs 2023 and projecting 300% further growth for 2025 vs 2024.
To mitigate risk as the business continues to expand, the owners are seeking a Non-Executive Director to act as consumer duty board champion. The right individual should successfully guide the business on the intricacies of retail finance and ensure the consumer is at the heart of decisions.
The right individual for this role must have:
- First hand experience at C-level / Director or Chairperson level of a similar business and know the intricacies of retail finance
- Excellent, current understanding of consumer duty and the retail finance market
- Constructively challenge and provide solutions
- Time capacity to support the business
