Description
This remote based Business Quality Officer job is for a
multi-award winning national financial advice business, building a diverse
workforce
As a Business Quality Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing
the suitability and quality of advice through file checking cases pre sale. If
you identify any areas of concern or development, it would be part of your role
to provide appropriate and supportive feedback to the Financial Advisors and
Paraplanners.
As such, you will be regularly working with your fellow
departments such as Training & Compliance, Technical & Proposition and
Paraplanning. The business utilises remote working plus likes to attend
meetings in their Farnborough office. Therefore, it is important that you are
happy to attend the office from time to time, such as on a monthly basis.
The business has a specialist pension team, therefore if you
had experience / qualifications in DB pension transfers that would be beneficial
but not essential.
The position is similar to that of an IFA File Checker.
Business Quality Officer Requirements
- You
should have experience as a File Checker for pension and investment advice
cases - Experience
of DB pension transfers, inheritance tax and trusts would be beneficial
but not essential - You
must be fully Diploma qualified - Individuals
with advanced AF exams would be desirable (such as AF3 / AF7) - This
role could suit Paraplanners who want to move into business quality /
compliance
