Sell and retire - acquisition option

Their team of Independent Financial Advisers are dotted around the UK to provide both remote servicing via video and telephone plus face-to-face advice for clients who live within an hour travelling distance.

Their advisers work predominantly with people who are planning for retirement or already retired. All of their advisers each have more than a decade of experience in financial advisory roles; so you know that your clients will be working with experienced advisers.

The firm is directly authorised and have open architecture to retain investments and pensions on their existing mandates. Despite being classed as a Pension Specialist they have steered away from giving advice on DB Pension Transfers and always outsourced these cases. This means that they have consciously minimised their risk under their professional indemnity.

Their typical adviser charges are 3% initial up to £50k and then 2% over this figure. Their ongoing charge is 0.75%. Clients receive quarterly updates. The firm would not intend making immediate changes to ongoing charges under an acquisition.
