Job description

Are you a current Financial Services Administrator looking to join a people-based business that works at a fast pace? The purpose of this Financial Services Administrator job in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is to provide administrative support to the Financial Advisors. Your efficient processing of business and day to day tasks helps to ensure clients receive a high level of service.

Your duties will include:

  • Communicating with clients to respond to queries via telephone, email and post
  • Monitor the Financial Advisors diaries for meetings and prepare relevant meeting packs
  • Ensure all record keeping systems are maintained and updated
  • Obtain quotations, illustrations and supporting documentation in preparation for client meetings
  • Obtain valuations and information on clients existing policies and investments
  • Work on ad-hoc projects for the Office Manager

Career development

This financial planning firm supports on the ongoing development of their staff and would financially support you to obtain your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or Certificate in Paraplanning. Plus, they have a study support group to help each other. You should be committed to remaining as an Administrator for minimum 2 years.

Financial Services Administrator Requirements

  • You must have 2 years’ experience as an Administrator within Financial Services
  • You should have an understand of Financial Services including: the role of a Financial Advisor; pension, investment and protection products and advice processes
